I Can't Unlove You

I'm watching dancing with the stars and the song, I can't unlove you just reminded me of you and made me get personal with you. I plan to ask you to marry me on Sunday.  I have to do it and I will.

The Race to Becoming a Mature Christian

Thank you Lord for today. I walk by faith and not by sight. I will shoe diligence. I will not be one lazy and I will take hold of faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.

Living out the lessons I have learned

Acts 28:23-28, 30-31

They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus. Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.

 They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: “The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your ancestors when he said through Isaiah the prophet: “‘Go to this people and say,

 “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.” For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

 “Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!” For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!

Praise the Lord. Thank you Jesus for you sacrifice. Thank you God for another day. I woke up at four so this is going to be a long day. I wish I had someplace in the city where I felt comfortable to lay my head for an hour or so. Oh well my cardiologist gave me a clean bill of health and said I don't need to see him until next year. Now to get my exercise routine in gear. Tomorrow I will be at lifetime. Blessed be the name of the Lord. I wonder what we are going to paint tonight. Be blessed and have a wonderful day, I love you.

Jonah's Disobedience

Receiving the word and not doing anything about it. Lor thank you for today. Thank you for all of your blessings. I see tha you are tearing down any and everything that I depended on. Do your word, do your will. That is my purpose.
I love you and pray for you today. I often wonder when you say how you would wake up in the morning and look over at your spouse and say, what was I thinking, do you think that about me. Will you be disappointed in me.? My Go, My God, what am I to do. Move forward in your word. Your word give me comfort. Your grace and mercy keep me strong. I walk by faith and not by sight.

Gospel Beginnings

Mark 1:1-15

Glory be to God. Thank you for another day. Thank you for blessing me last night. Blessed is your holy name. Lord, give me the strength not to act a fool today with that demon. She keeps causing problems but Lord I believe it's time for me to move on and I will. This is my last year there and I feel a sense of calm and relief. I will find another job that pays the same or more. I will not worry or fret. She targeted me and finally found a way to get me. Her victory is just a win-win for me. She can hate me all she wants but it doesn't change the fact that she's incompetent.
I find encouragement and strength in what I have to face and temptation I will not bow down to today.

Be blessed today and know that I do love you.

What's In a Name?

Hosea 1:1-2:1

Praise the Lord Almighty for another day. Thank you for waking me up today. I need you with me today Lord. I know I wander, but I come back. I have not found anything greater than God. Keep me near today, love me as your own.  I have to go to the inspector generals office. I have been summoned. What ever or who ever they are investigating they have not given me any information over the phone. I know I have not done anything wrong to warrant an investigation so it must be about someone else. Praise the Lord God Almighty that you are with me always. I have a Drs appt in the morning and then off to the inspector general in the afternoon.
Bible study this evening. I am so looking forward to seeing you. Your energy lights up the room. Please take care of yourself. Take you vitamins, get plenty of rest, drink lots of water. Try not to yell at anybody today. Try.

Praise God, thank you for another day. Thank you for your blessings. I love you, but somehow there is still a problem.
I saw the movie the shack last week and I loved it. We throw the word love around to mean so many different things. I care deeply, I am concerned about your comings and goings, what makes you happy and what makes you sad. But yet and still there is a problem.have a blessed day,I love you.

Lining up our words with our actions, getting our priorities straight

Haggai 1-2

Praise God for an awesome, intimate bible study. Your words touched my heart and my mind. I was reminded that I fell in love with your words and that is how you love me, through my words in my journal. Words are powerful. Glory be to God. Rebuild my temple, God says. But now that temple is inside me. He doesn't need the concrete, he refers to the abstract. My spirit needs to be rebuilt. Rebuild my relationship with God. I ask God to observe me and show me his priorities for me. Help me to live them. If someone observed me for a week right now in my life, what would they say my priorities are? Lord help me to get my priorities straight.

Victory Snatched from Defeat

Mark14:43-15:1-37

Thank you Lord. Thank you for your sacrifice. Victory is coming. It may look bad, but victory is coming.

MyLove, thank you for your swift responses and careful words and suggestions. We hadn't thought of the local papers and even though we sent emails, phones constantly ringing will suggest that someone might pay attention to us. Thank you again.

I'm excited about tonight. I hope I can stay awake. I was up at 4am and it's going to be a long day. But no matter, I will be there, yeah, bible study.

Worship

Matthew 1-2
Worship and tell others about the King. That telling others has always been a problem for me. My testimony. My love and worship of our Savior. They things he has brought me through, taken me around, and just didn't let happen to me. Angels, we walk with angels sent from God.

"I'm not your superwoman, I'm not the kind of girl that you can let down and think that everything's ok. Boy I am only human. It's gonna take more than occasional hugs as a token of love from you."

This song has been in my head since Sunday morning in the shower. 

Members of Christ, or so they say

1 Corinthians 5-6
Dear God how do we act when there is serious injustice in the world. A little yeast, a little injustice works through the entire batch. We need sincerity and truth. We need an opportunity to be heard.

As Paul says,  if we were to not associate with the immoral,greedy, swindlers or idolaters, we would have no one to associate with, but when they are in the church and calling themselves brother, then you need to not even eat with them.

 We dare not to judge because God does the judging, we take our dispute before the ungodly, and are given an unjust decision.  

I, my family, have a dispute with my grandson's school decision over their 5-6th basketball coach. They suspended this man, a black man, only black in their league for four games. The man was given a technical at the last season game. The kids still won even though they kicked the coach out of the game. That should have been enough of a punishment for him but no, now that they are in the playoffs, they want to suspend him for the rest of the season.

The players are furious and so are their parents. We have the most diverse team, fewest players and we still won. Now, they suspend their coach and tell them if they keep talking about it, they will give the boys detention.

The coach is married to a white girl and they have three children, I think there is some racial bias going on. Now my daughter has asked me to write to you for help. I will send you my official unemotional email pleading for any assistance you can provide to help direct them. I said take it to the media but they don't know how to do that, so I will be coming to you for advice and guidance.

My therapist, who I have seen twice, we meet on Thursdays,

is helping me to try to understand why I have such an unnatural fear of trusting and being intimate with a man that I say I love and want to be with. He knows I'm working on improving my relationship with someone at my church, I said his name is Mike. He says we are working to improve my relationship with men because if he works only to get me to Mike, Mike might just want to tie me up and put me in his trunk. I laughed because I know that's not true.

So just so you know I will be sending you an email pleading for your help and advice.
