Acts 16:13-40
I just smiled at this because Paul was not going to be made fun of. The slave girl was following him around and saying all these truths about them and it irritated him. He called the spirit out and her handlers got pissed because their cash cow was gone. Paul and Silas get whipped, in public, put in jail, sing praises to the Lord, receive favor from the Lord, magistrates say they can go, but Paul says, no way. You embarrassed us in public, you will walk us out and we are going to leave when we are good and ready to leave.
Yeah, don’t disrespect me the try to cover it up. I ask God to give me the courage as I step in faith to obey him, to tell those around me about the good news that has transformed my life. Blessed is the name of the Lord. Have a blessed day today, My Love.
