I sit here trying to complete my four New Years expectations/resolutions and I have no idea what to believe in God for. I know that I want a renewed relationship, more financial independence and stability, health for my family and friends, weight loss, all the good things that we are supposed to ask for and really truly mean when we ask for them. But I want the intimacy back again. The looking in each other’s eyes and touching one another’s heart. The love that is obviously sincere and true. Knowing that we are a mess, but we each other’s mess and it just works for us. We work. We groove together. I want that in all parts of my life.
