Merry Christmas My Love

Let’s jump at the chance to do better. We are better together than apart. I have been sick all weekend and I’m going to go to the doctor tomorrow. I can’t believe this flu, cold, sore throat or whatever it is won’t leave my body. I’ve been ill for most of December. I blame it on Macys. I’m quitting. I’m too old to have two jobs and think that I’ll be just fine. I hope to get well over these two weeks and be a breath of fresh air when I return to work.  I just want to be well. I’m not going to feed the homeless. I don’t want to be around food. The smell makes me nauseous.

It has been a busy month. The holiday was extra special because the kids came in. I thank God for my family. They keep me down to earth and off of myself. They can be a pain sometimes, but they are my pain in the ...
Though I would like someone special to get a kiss from every now and then. Someone to show some love to without any restrictions or worries.i feel like I have missed my window.

My grand babies love me and I probably take too many hugs and kisses from my sweeties.
You and I were a beautiful dream. What a dream it was. Twenty years ago, it was there for the taking. Life happens.
We get close and then we move away. How can we take a leap of faith for each other under conditions such as those? Its sad.
It’s not very reassuring and because of that, it’s just a beautiful dream. It’s like our window of opportunity has closed.
 Time is a monster. It waits for no one. I pray that this monster of time will go quickly. Years have gone by in a flash.
I may not have done everything I wanted to do but I did do something. I’ve made mistakes and paid the price for them.
I will continue to make mistakes for as long as I live.  Sixty years is young to some and old to others. As long as I have my health and the right frame of mind, I’m going to be alright.

What else can I do? Keep believing and loving Jesus. Believe that God loves me and wants more for me. Believe that I am special and God holds me in his loving arms and will keep me safe.

While I know every day and time is not going to be  pleasant and loving, I have God with me every step of my journey. Thank God for the Spirit, because some days really  try my Spirit.

 I could just sit and cry all day if I let my feelings loose. But I keep them in check. Never really revealing my true feelings.

The good and the bad. At the end of the day or the beginning of the day, I know I can reach out. To God and pray. My God will never forsake me of leave me. I have solace in that.

I woke up at my usual time even though today is an off day. Read my bible and reviewed my bible study message. Worship the Lord in praise and thanksgiving. You cannot have hate for others if you are worshipping the Lord. Forgiveness is a personal thing. Releasing the anger frees you from a lot of internal hurt and personal destruction. thank God for Friday’s. First week and I’m exhausted. I let Mary’s mom viewing totally slip from my mind. I remembered too late. I’m exhausted. Three late nights this week. Monday, went to a movie premiere. Tuesday, went to bible study, Wednesday, worked at Macys. I’m coming home today and collapsing. I’m good though. Do I have what it takes? First day officially onboard. Will I have struggles with the existing cultural climate of the school? I’m sure I can come up with a million things to worry about but God says “do not be afraid, I am with you”. So that will be my mantra, I will not fear today.  My Love, My Love. Today was a traumatic day. Mary had a traumatic loss. I am praying for her and her family. The doctor was inspirational. My grandson and I are reading the book together. We completed chapter one tonight. We are going to try one chapter a night. Failure is not an option. I had to take a drug test on Friday. A physical exam, eye exam, tb test. You would think I was joining the military or something. It’s the Menta Group, and they do their own testing. I’m sure all will be just fine. I’m excited about the hours. 7:15-2:15. Those are student hours though. Teachers always stay later, come earlier. I don’t even know what grade, but now that I have my special ed certification, it could be a combination. Life is always something that you never expect. I know I’m praying for a cooperative work environment. No personality stress. It is an alternative school for Joliet School District. Thompson Instructional Center. I actually have good vibes about this place. The principal knows teachers and principals that I have worked with before because she’s former CPS too. I just feel good about this. I’m not taking it because it’s the only thing I could find, I’m taking it because it’s close, the class sizes will be small and the work will be challenging. I think I have another 10 years or so and then I’m probably done. We’ll see what the future has in store for me. God is always in the picture. Praying for my miracle of love. God knows my heart. It’s close to home, I’m skilled in the position. I really think I’m going to enjoy this. I’ll have two jobs but it’s worth the effort. I was just so stressed and when I got the call today with the offer, I cried. Blessed is the Lord. My head is swimming still. It’s been a hard year. Literally the past three years have been a huge stress on me both mentally and physically. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. My prayers were answered. I knew God had a spot for me. It will work out. I know God is in everything and everywhere.

Thank God for you and your wonderful reminders that summer is over so now it’s time to get to church regularly. Can’t be in ministry if you can’t get to church. I would love to be there every Sunday. Walking on every Friday March and giving my all to my loving church. I just have to make that road trip. I work on weekends and that sucks. I have told my manager that I can’t get in before three on Sundays now and I should be able to abide by my duty to be in church. I’m not lecturing until Christmas Eve and that day is usually not a reading day for lecturers anyway most of the time, though I haven’t been in a few years. I have to increase my attendance on thes special holidays. I’m praying for a real job and if this happens, I’ll be so grateful to God. I look to the Lord for my strength. I'm sorry that it sounds like I'm blaming you for something you had absolutely nothing to do with. I thought I was going to get this position, I had been in it for two weeks but they decided to go with someone else. I accept that. She's actually going to refer me for another position which is more along the lines of my endorsements anyway. I think my disappointment was that I needed a smile from you. Sometimes just a smile will make a person feel better. I don't know how to stop this crazy cycle that we see to be in. The reality is we need each other. I had a big disappointment on Friday and I was feeling very sad and inept. I went home from that school feeling like a failure and a fool. I felt used and abused. I went home and went to bed. The day was done. I didn't even think about the walk because I knew it was going to rain and I was not going to be out in the rain with my allergies. Saturday I went to work at Macys and found out I could come in later if I closed so at first thinking I wouldn't be in church changed to I can go to church then go to work. Church was inspiring and uplifting but you barely gave me a nod, a smile, eye contact, nothing. I'm a failure with you. I can't  seem to do anything right. Yea, I was feeling ignored, totally. I just left. Why stand in the hug line for ten minutes for you to give me a standard hug and have a blessed week. I'm sorry that I am a failure at this but I guess I just need to keep trying. Fail forward, fail often, fail to succeed. Never stop trying. don't give up. Keep the faith. Love conquers all. If not today, tomorrow. Faith, Hope, and Love, Love is the greatest of them all. Women should be able to preach if they want to do that. Children should be able to trust the adults who teach and lead them when they are young. Praise God for the ones who believe in proclaiming good news, freedom and sight to the blind. Sight to see things that they have not seen before. A Clearer vision that God has provided. God knows that we search for a closer relationship with him and that we search for freedom. I don't need to give you compliments and accolades just to make you feel better. I have been thinking all day about your choices. I feel you have a very solid work ethic and this is truly a dilemma for you to decide. You have opinions from all around you. But you are a praying man and I know you are listening to God.  You have built a wonderful kingdom over there. It would not be anything like it is if it wasn't for you. You made that happen. Your commitment to the neighborhood and the people in it. You brought life back into a community that was dying. Is it at the level you want, probably not, but its better than it was. The connections that you have, the willingness to work with the ones who can make a difference and actually get something done is truly remarkable. No one was doing anything with basketball players and the young men until you decided to begin the collaboration with gangs. Now I have heard about two different basketball things with former players. You started that. Marching to protest the injustice. You brought back the power that communities can have to influence the lawmakers. You made banks take notice. You made businesses take notice. You organized peaceful, effective movements. You did this. So when you think about the fact that attendance is down and tithes are down, you have to look at the economy as well. I personally don't even have a full-time job and haven't had one for a year now. I have been employed, but under employed. I think many people love you and will want you to stay as senior pastor and keep doing what you have been doing. The only thing is you will keep getting the same results. But does that mean you have to walk away from your industry. You have built many outreach functions through your own funding and contributions from others. Will someone else be able to do what you have done, I don't know. I don't imagine you are ready to turn it over to someone else and who would that someone be. Would you do a search or would you have the people there just take over. Would you feel comfortable having someone else do your job? Are you ready to turn the reigns over to someone else? Are you feeling the pull to do something else. I don't want to be selfish and put my wants and desires in your life plans. If you were unhappy with your choice with me then I would feel really bad. But why do I think the worse. Maybe you would be happy and it would be one of the best things we had done with our lives. We would be together and able to do any of the things you wanted. Amazing how real it all is. The possibilities are endless. The commitment to something is the problem. What to choose. How to make the right decision. Remember that God is Your First Love, your highest priority. See his present above all else, your experience of peace and joy is in him. While we journey through life remember that God's glory brightens the world around us. Your choice will brighten your heart and relieve the pressure you feel. Submit wholeheartedly to your decision. You will know what you want. Listen to Him. Follow your heart.

God Bless You today. I’m going on a Navy Per tout and boat ride with my mother today. Her birthday is tomorrow. I’m hoping God will grant me a long life. The CPS thing was a huge mistake and they claim to have cleared it up. They must have sent out hundreds of letters to former teachers talking about misconduct and child abuse. Now they have corrected the information to not even include anything like that. Just the allegation alone can be detrimental, people don’t care if you are innocent, just that you have been accused. They even sent it to the Illinois State Board of Ed. But after talking to a lawyer and talking to CPS, hopefully all is well. Still have to follow up with them though. Stay strong. What a Life! It’s like CPS just won’t let me live my life. It’s been a year and now some mess. I can’t believe I’m going to have to get a lawyer, and pay hard earned money to get rid of them for good. They have just lied on me. Just lied. First off I resigned, took my pension and they didn’t like that. Haters will hate. I wish I had never worked at CPS. For 12 years it was a challenge every day. Now they are try8ng to mess with my teaching license. I have to fight back. So I have to get help. I can’t do it alone.

I have been sick and wish that I felt better. I will be going to the doctor tomorrow. I wish I didn’t have these problems. Speak to my heart Lord. Give me your holy word. I believe in non violence. Wrestling with the flesh and the spirit. There is a war between the holy me and the human me. Fear, be careful, what does God mean when he says fear. Scripture tells us to fear some things and some things we should not fear. We should not be afraid of people. We should not be afraid of haters, problems, failures, difficulty, red seas, Goliath and pharaohs.
We should be afraid of being alive and not living. We should fear dying without living up to God’s true potential. We should be afraid of living and dying without doing what God called us to. Don’t fear death, as long as we live first.
We all have bucket list. Stop being afraid of the risk of failure. We need scratches and scars. Don’t fear failure. Risk success. We have gotten it twisted. We are afraid of stuff we shouldn’t be. Profit is what you have after the transaction.

Love is the very essence of our being. If we have someone to love and someone loves us then we are blessed. We can take nothing for granted. The world we live in is on a slippery slope to hate country. It’s like everyday we hear of a hate filled rant towards another person. The good news is, people are recording it and posting the encounter for the world to see. When hate comes from the top, it just allows the ignorant to show their stupidity. People don’t know legal from illegal so then they have to carry papers. Then they need an outward sign that shows who they are, then let’s group them together so we know where they are. Then let’s move them because by now people just really hate them and  then what. My daughters say I don’t trust people. They think I’m over exaggerating. Maybe I am, but I see people who loving being able to discriminate and just hate because their leader has given them permission. It’s interesting that the leader of the free world’s friends are dictators who suppress their people’s liberty and freedoms. What a shame. God is still on the throne and we are not alone.  If they fight the wall, they are perceived as weak and prefer the open door, idiotic, let anyone in the country to kill us drama. 45 (I refuse to say his name) has revved up his base to hate and hate any and everybody. He will think for them. Give them the words to say. Keep money in the pockets of those who may be wavering about his style and they have no problem bowing down to their every whim. History books will decide and today, a great majority of people have moved to far left and far right. I would not be surprised  if civil war happened again.
If we stop raising our voices, recording the injustice, demanding equality and caring, then ugly evil steps in on both sides and the masses that 45 control will continue to multiply. They love how he protects their country and tells them what to think. He visits the small towns and totally ignores big cities where there is too much “browning” of the population. Keep it tight and keep it white. That’s one thing that can be said, they will stick together. We need to do the same thing, just better than them. Is it really them and us? Thank God for Blessings. I always feel special when I get one. It was a blessing to see you after 8 weeks of not seeing you. It was good to see you and good to be seen. Your armorbearers make me feel like they are protecting you from me, as if I am a threat. I try to ignore them and keep my focus on you. As the bible says, "I know the plans I have for you, not to hurt or harm" that's my version of the scripture. I keep pressing forward. I have four chapters to read each week until July 28th and finals and quizzes and papers. I will be busy. I'm seriously thinking of opening a franchise, Mathnasium because I believe I will be involved in something that will give me greater self esteem. My own business. I never really wanted my own business before, but now, I'm interested. Macy's called me and asked if I would consider returning to jewelry sales for flex hours. I said yes. I'm off for the summer, but its not like when I was employed full-time and being paid full pay. I will work twenty hours a month. That works for me and I still get the discount. Yeah!! So, I am not curled up in a ball wasting away, I have plans. Now is God onboard with those plans, that's where prayer comes in. I pray for God's guidance. Should I open up a business? Are we going to find that perfect time when everything falls into place and we are together, or will it continue to be a bunch of misses? I pray to God to guide me in everything now. Its easy to become depressed in this world. The leader of my country and half the country hates me and daily, they put measures in to play to destroy me and my kind. I'm double special because I'm also a woman. When I think of couples, and I have very little experience since the last thirty years, I have not been a couple. I think that together we make a commitment to keep each other in that bubble. We are together, supporting, encouraging and loving each other. We seem to live such distant lives. Only when I come to you and once there, try to understand what's going on. I come to you. I make the effort to drive 50 miles round trip to see you. I make the effort. I move forward with that action alone. What about you?

Arrive home Sunday, had the sniffles and felt a little of but nothing major. Monday, feeling so-so, Tuesday, all out fever, chills, the works. Wednesday, feeling better, than Tuesday, but not quite back to a rational sense of feeling normal and stable. I feel discouraged, but I know there are better days ahead. I’m sorry I missed yo-yo ma, but I’m glad it was a hit. You continue to keep getting up and trying to make a positive difference in the world around you. God wants us to be free. The bible says he who the son sets free is free indeed. Don't put limits and ceilings on your life. God wants us to do the impossible things. He wants to blow our mind. Don't think small, think big. Open up to the impossible.

The waiter simply brings you your food. The waiter brings the food, the chef makes the food. God knows what we need and he is ordering for us. We get to meet the Chef.
We can't change the world until we change ourselves, if we have no joy, we can't give joy. We pick up traits from the people we hang around. I'm 60 and you are 69, WOW.
We need a lifestyle change. WWJD was a scam, made a lot of money on those bracelets. God's people have to change the world. The government will not change the world. The government will never create a just world. The reason the church is so messed up and dysfunctional is that religion cannot change the world.
We cannot do it without God's power. We are fighting powers and principalities. We will never beat the devil with our human strength. He will walk all over us, like he's doing right now. Stop waiting for Jesus to come back and do what you can do now. Dorothy could have gone home whenever she wanted.
We are always waiting for someone else to fix our lives. God said he gave us the power. God wants us to have the power of the holy ghost. After you have been save and sanctified, God wants you to live in the abundant life, John 10:10, God wants us to have peace, joy, and life. God wants us to have a life of abundance.
He wants us to feel joy, healed and have knowledge.God doesn't want us depressed and unhappy. God wants us to be healed. Unless we believe then we won't be healed. God says we are limiting ourselves.
Not some man or woman to supply our needs. He wants us to have sanctification. To be baptized with the holy spirit. We are meant to be his witnesses.
God did not fill us with the holy ghost to sit up in church and look cute. We have to be his witnesses. Every place we go, we should be a witness. Go out and change the world. I must tell of the goodness of the world.  We can stop the poverty, homelessness, because Jesus is still Lord. As Long as we Know Jesus is Lord, then we can Keep Kicking Butt.

My God, my God. You have hit the nail on the head. You know I am working on an incomplete for my classes.
I told my daughter and her husband that I was working at a 2.0 level and now I am at 6.0. The Pacific Northwest, Seattle, is a very tech town and lots of coffee is needed.  I am finally adjusting to the time change, the weather, the daily busyness of dishes, feeding families, working together to get the toddler (he's not a baby as he told me) ready for preschool.Then there is my first granddaughter. Ooohh, I could spend hours just looking at her. Raising young children is for the young.
This is for the young, for sure, she needed help. Only she got me.
Stabilize me Jesus. Let me get to Jesus. i'm listening to you right now while I work on my papers. I left the two finals to do because I thought I would still have time in the day to do my papers. WOW!
When I arrived, I was amazed at how she was just holding on until I got here.
Baby almost broke her water the moment she saw me, truth. She just needed to know I had arrived and mommy can now deliver her. Thank God I arrived when I did. Was I a savior, of course not. Just someone who loves them and wants to help them.
 Thank You God for reminding me to be free. I pray that my heart is true, but my chains are heavy. Please God, help us. I love how we have to reach out to one another. We cannot do this alone. No man is an island. My heart yearns for love. My son in law worries about me being alone.
These children who are doing these school shootings are not shooting strangers, they are shooting classmates and teachers who they know and see daily. What are the relationships like. We are just going to get a lot of copycat acts. There seems to be a sense of identity that the students are seeking. When the pledge is said every day in schools across the country, its amazing how its just become words. Words are important. We can't be casual about God. I pray that the spirit of the Lord is loosened in every one of us. We must try to do right. We can't be casual. We are coming to enter the presence of Yawah, and we are too casual. We must respect the presence of God. Teach us to honor you and never get comfortable in your presence. I love that your voice is control and still filled with a sense of urgency. I can listen with the baby and all is well. Make the presence of God a reality where ever I go. God kept me, Jesus healed the blind, made the lame walk, raised the dead and fed thousands. We can talk about Jesus and talk about all that he has done, what can Jesus say about what we have done.

What a morning. My classes are almost over and I’m home today to try and finish my finals before I travel tomorrow. I don’t want to have th epressur eof doing the finals when I get out there. Final date to turn in is May 11th but I don’t want to put that pressure on myself. Almost done. Pressure now, relax and prepare for ne baby later. I get to be with my three, almost four year old.i feel like I have a tone of stuff to do. Finish packing, get my nails done, we are going to th edepaul alumni reception tonight too. It seemed like a good idea at the time, sort of a way to celebrate together befor eI leave. At least I don’t leave until 12:10 so it not like a hugeness early morning departure. I will miss everyone. I hope to come back renewed. I’m planning on that June 15th March.

I thank God for his goodness. Thank you God for your blessings. Your mercy and your grace. Holy is your name. Lord you love me regardless of how well I perform. You love me. Sometimes I wonder if you still love me because of my behavior, weather good or bad, and the final conclusion is, yes you do. I strive to find and keep that love for myself and others. Love that flows without limits and conditions. That is why God is Love. We are made in the image and likeness of God, but we are not God. Through Jesus Christ we strive to reach just a portion of that love. Unconditional, unfailing, never leave you love. Thank You Lord for loving me, unconditionally.

God reminds me that I must gather his peace every day. Just as the Israelites could not store up manna, neither can I store up peace, trust, hope, and love. Each and every day it must be renewed, fresh harvest. God designed me to need him. My neediness of him increases when I think I can do it on my own. I can do nothing on my own. Just as the Israelites had to renew their faith every day for his manna, I too, have to renew my faith and trust and love. I come to God with a thankful heart. I need you Lord, I need you.

Good Morning My Love

Praise God. I feel I have to use that greeting even though I don’t feel the love from you. My God is working in all things. If I stay constantly searching for him, he will find me. I feel the pull of ministry. I need to minister to my friend who has lost her way and needs a path to God. She lost her son a few years ago and now her husband is diagnosed with bone, lung and some other cancer. It’s just a matter of time. She’s in Boise and she has reached out to me after thirty years. What do I say and do Lord? I am hardly the bring them to Jesus type. I believe but I have never had to convince others. I don’t want to scare her. I speak of God in my life and how it comforts me to know the Lord. I know as I say it to just keep letting her know the need for a relationship with God. The intimacy that it brings and the trust that you can have knowing somewhere out there, someone has your back. I thank you Lord for placing good people in my life who love you and love me.

I have a doctor’s appt today
I have been so achy lately, I fell last week try8ng to get a first grader. I need to rethink this EBD program. These kids hit, kick, curse and whatever else they can do. This is not my calling. I can do it for another two weeks the it’s off to Washington for a month. I’m looking forward to a change. God knows the concerns of my heart about that and when I return. Unconditional and conditional Love

It’s  easy to understand when someone loves you because you did something for them but when you are messed up and disappointing and they still love you, that’s love. Unconditional love.

I pray everyday that my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ will advocate for me in the court of my life. Hear my prayers, see my struggles, watch me stumble, watch me rise, keep me close to you Jesus as I struggle to keep you close to me. Open my mouth Jesus. You  help me to get there help me to move forward with him in my life and me in his life. I pray that you will give us time together on this side of our existence. Help us to love each other and to care for each other. Show me how , let the words flow out of his mouth. Let the response come from my heart. Allow us to love. Let us become one in spirit, mind and body. Lord you are the way, the truth and the light. Help us.
